CyberPunkSoho（電腦叛客獨立工作室）是什麼、做什麼、怎麼工作，以及我們如何使用 AI 並對內容負責。What CyberPunkSoho is, what it makes, how it works, and how it uses AI while staying responsible for the content.

工作室是什麼

CyberPunkSoho（簡稱 CPS，中文名「電腦叛客獨立工作室」）是一個獨立的產品開發計畫，以一人工作室的規模運作。我們選擇日常生活中反覆遇到的問題，把它做成容易使用、容易理解的網站工具與 App。

名稱裡的 Cyberpunk 指的是一種態度：不被單一平台綁住，善用現有的資源與 AI 技術武裝自己，在數位世界裡保有自己的選擇與控制權。

我們做什麼

目前有四個專案，各自解決不同的問題，詳細介紹請見作品與專案：

我們怎麼工作

  • 從實際需求出發：先有一個真實會遇到的麻煩，再決定要做什麼，而不是先決定要做多少功能。
  • 說清楚怎麼運作：每個專案都標示資料從哪裡來、哪些是計算出來的推估、有哪些做不到的事。
  • 謹慎對待個人資料：能在你的裝置上完成的事，就不送到伺服器；不需要帳號的，就不要求註冊。
  • 持續更新，也誠實記錄：有變更就記在更新紀錄，有錯誤就更正。

我們如何使用 AI

我們使用 AI 作為開發與寫作的協作工具，用來加快實作、整理資料與撰寫文字初稿。AI 不是事實來源：功能是否正常、資料是否正確、文字是否準確，都需要實際測試與查證後才會公開。詳細原則請見開發與內容原則。

What the studio is

CyberPunkSoho (CPS) is an independent product-development project run at the scale of a one-person studio. We pick problems people keep running into in daily life and turn them into web tools and apps that are easy to use and easy to understand.

"Cyberpunk" in the name is an attitude: not being tied to a single platform, using the resources and AI technology at hand to arm ourselves, and keeping our own choices and control in the digital world.

What we make

There are four projects today, each solving a different problem. Details are on the projects page:

  • KESI Tools: image, PDF, video, audio and everyday tools that run in your browser, with no file uploads.
  • GearLab: measure monitors, mice, keyboards, headsets and gamepads in the browser.
  • OmniRadar: road, weather and sea conditions on one page before you go.
  • AfterHero: keep receipts and warranty cards on your phone and get warranty expiry dates automatically (in development).

How we work

  • Start from a real need: we begin with a real annoyance and then decide what to build, not the other way around.
  • Explain how it works: each project states where its data comes from, which numbers are computed estimates, and what it cannot do.
  • Treat personal data carefully: if something can be done on your device it is not sent to a server, and if no account is needed we do not ask for one.
  • Keep updating and keep honest records: changes go in the update log and mistakes get corrected.

How we use AI

We use AI as a collaboration tool for development and writing: to speed up implementation, organise material and draft text. AI is not a source of facts. Whether a feature works, whether data is right and whether text is accurate are checked by testing and verification before anything is published.
